The Echelon E540d Drop-In Grill (No Hood) is designed for custom installations where a dedicated vent hood is used instead of the grill's own lid. Same Echelon Diamond cast stainless steel burners and Diamond Sear cooking grids — in a hood-free drop-in configuration for maximum flexibility.

• Diamond Sear cooking grids — patented design with smooth flat-top bars that transfer heat directly to food for faster, more even cooking
• Cast stainless steel burners — 1/4" thick cast 304 stainless steel with lifetime warranty; protective lip above ports prevents grease clogging
• Flavor Grids — vaporize juices to naturally flavor food while minimizing flare-ups and grease fires
• 90° double-walled 304 stainless steel hood — efficient heat retention with Teflon-coated spring assist for easy opening
• Comfort Touch back-lit control knobs with brushed finish and safety flame indicators (knobs glow red when lit)
• Optional Magic View Window — monitor food without lifting the hood and losing heat
