Our Story
Custom Fireside was founded by the Ward Family in 1968 in Sacramento, CA. For over 40 years they served the Sacramento Area as the premier Fireplace, Stove, and Insert dealer.
In 2005, the Heller family purchased the company. They continued growing the business building a reputation of being Sacramento’s hearth and fireplace experts serving many customers including the area’s top contractors and designers.
In 2021, Custom Fireside was purchased by Teamshares, Inc and has become an Employee-Owned Company with Employees now being a minority shareholder of the company with the goal of becoming 80% majority shareholder by 2041.
