The Yolo-Solano Air Quality Management District offers vouchers to replace operational, uncertified woodstoves and open-hearth fireplaces with cleaner heating devices. $2,500 standard or up to $5,000 enhanced for low-income households.

Get Approved
YSAQMD reviews your application and issues an approved voucher. Enhanced vouchers are available for low-income households.
Redeem With Us
Bring your approved voucher to Custom Fireside. We install, submit the claim packet, and YSAQMD reimburses eligible costs.
Who Qualifies
Four quick checks determine whether your home is eligible for the Yolo-Solano woodsmoke voucher.
- You live in Yolo County or northeastern Solano County (including Dixon, Rio Vista, Vacaville).
- You have an operational uncertified wood-burning stove or open-hearth fireplace.
- You obtain an approved voucher before destroying your old device or purchasing a replacement.
- Your new device is a certified wood/pellet stove or certified wood, gas, propane, or electric insert.
